SSVT – NADATARANGINI ANNUAL MUSIC FESTIVAL
SSVT and Nadatarangini will be celebrating the 28th Annual Music Festival commemorating Sri Purandaradasa and Sri Thyagaraja. The festivities will commence at 8.00 AM on Saturday April 25th and conclude on Sunday April 26th. As always Sri Rama Puja, Pancharathna Kritis, Individual singing, Musical Presentations and Concerts will lace the occasion. Those wishing to participate in individual singing should register before March 29th. Every effort will be made to accommodate the registrants but due to limited slots, the registration will be on a first come first served basis and the organizers reserve the right to group the participants if necessary.
Nadatarangini is a registered non-profit cultural organization dedicated to the propagation of Classical Music in the U.S.A. The basic purpose is to nourish, encourage, and promote local artists and visiting artists from India.
It has been extremely satisfying and encouraging to see that over 200 people, young and old, regularly perform during the Annual Music Festival. We hope this would inspire them to not only improve and enhance their musical talents but would also aid in motivating others to learn Classical Music in the coming years.
We thank all our patrons, donors, volunteers and advertisers who have helped us during these years. We also thank the Sri Siva Vishnu Temple Executive Committee and the Kaveri Executive Committee for their continued support.
All our programs have been free and are supported by the generous contributions and volunteer assistance from the public. We look forward to their continued support in the future.
