BACKGROUND
Studied from the age of 6 under his father late J.L.Kashinath sastry a violin Artist with All India Radio, Bangalore a versatile in Karnatic, Hindustani and Western music.
CONCERTS IN INDIA
Performed with artistes of international repute like T.N.Seshagopalan, T.V.Shankarnarain,T.R.Subramaniam, late Maharajapuram Santanam, R.K.Srikantan, Rudrapatnam Brothers, M.S.Sheela, R.A.Ramamani, Sukanya Prabhakar, Nagavalli Nagaraj, R.K.Padmanabh, N.Ramani, to name a few.
Performed in major concerts as accompanying artiste at Music Academy, Narada Gana Sabha, Bharatiya Vidya Bhavan in Chennai, Gayana Samaja, Karnataka Gana Kala Parishat, Malleshwaram Sangeet Sabha in Bangalore, Shanmukhananda Hall in Mumbai and Pune,Nagpur,Calcutta, Delhi and other major art Centre’s of India.
Accompanied well known dancers like Sridhar Anuradha,Pratibha Prahlad,Padmini Ravi, Lakshmi Gopalaswamy, Sandhya and Kiran Subramaniam, Vasundara Doreswamy to name a few.
RECORDINGS
Audio recordings of Devarnamas and Tillanas by Nagavalli Nagaraj, Haridasa compositions by R.K.Padmanabha, Devaranamas by Maharajapuram Santanam. Audio recordings for dance performances and films.
CONCERTS OUTSIDE INDIA
1988 – Concert Tour of 45 days of the USSR for the Festival of India with T.N.Seshagopalan and Guruvayur Dorai.
1988-Concert Tour of 20 days to Muscat, Bahrain and Dubai with T.N.Seshagopalan and again with Vidyabushan to Dubai and Abu Dhabi
1999 and 2001-Concert Tour and teaching assignments in Amsterdam and other cities of Holland.
2003-Concert Tour to Sri Lanka with Kum.Varijasri under the aegis of the world Hindu Conference.
2003, 2007 & 2009- Toured United States for Concerts in different cities.
Also toured Qatar twice for Teaching Assignment and participated in the Kannada Sammelan along with B.K.Anantharam the famous flute maestro of Vamshi Academy Bangalore
