Suchitra Akmanchi

Suchitra Akmanchi is a sophomore at Johns Hopkins University in Baltimore, MD. She has been learning Carnatic Music since the age of 5 from Sri Raghavendra Batni. For the past seven years she has been fortunate enough to also receive training in Carnatic Music from Smt. Usha Char. In addition, she pursues her interest in Bharatanatyam and Western drumset- having completed her Bharatanatyam Arangetram in September of 2010.
