BRIEF BIODATA OF VENKATESH MYSORE

Venky was born, brought-up and educated in India. He immigrated to the USA in 1985. He hails from a musical family and is an accomplished mridangist. Venky started his mridangam training under the well renowned Vidwan T.V. Gapalakrishnan. Subsequently, he has received advanced training from Shri. M.T. Rajakesari. He has accompanied several artists both in the US as well as India.

Venky is the Vice-President of MetLife’s International operations in New York, USA. He has been with MetLife since 1985.

He is currently on assignment in India as the CEO of MetLife India. Prior to going to India, he was involved in two short assignments with MetLife’s operations in Indonesia and Hong Kong.
